What is online personal training and how does it work?
Online personal training with PSHL means you work in direct correspondence with your online personal trainer who will provide the guidance, motivation and expertise required to achieve your goals.
Upon signing up with PSHL you will be sent a questionnaire by email which will help your trainer design a program specifically for you. No templates, computer programs or duplicate copies are used – PSHL always designs programs from scratch with your goals and requirements in mind.
 
Throughout the program your trainer will assess your progress and, where necessary, adjust your exercise and/or nutrition program to ensure the best possible results are achieved. The consultation is unlimited – meaning you can send as many emails as you wish – and your trainer will happily answer any questions, problems or requests for advice.
 
You wil also receive regular updates and tips on various topics of health and fitness. This will keep you motivated as well as provide valuable information to help you achieve your goals.
 
Who is online personal training for?
Anyone can benefit from online personal training. Because of the flexibility it provides it doesn't matter what your goals are - they are achievable.
 
It is great for busy individuals who don't have time for the gym but still want to include exercise in their lifestyle. A program will be developed with your daily schedule in mind, helping to accomodate those who find exercise difficult to fit in to the day.
 
It's also of great benefit to those who have the motivation and desire to achieve their health and fitness goals but don't know how to go about doing so. We can provide the blueprint for your success.
 
What type of person will benefit most from online personal training?
At PSHL we design each program with you in mind meaning virtually any person regardless of their circumstances will benefit from working with us via online personal training. As a client you will have a program designed according to your goals, fitness levels, time available, access to equipment and any other personal factors that need to be considered.
 
Having said that there are a few qualities that are shared by those who will benefit most from online personal training:
  • Have a goal: If you know where you want to be, we can help you get there. Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, train for a sport or improve your health, online personal training can help you achieve those goals.
  • Keen to do things the right way: One of the main reason clients turn to us is that they have tried to lose weight and get fit before only to fall short. Often this is because they were unsure of how to go about achieving their goals.
  • Enjoys communication and collaboration: As a client you will have access to a personal trainer who wishes to see you achieve your results. Think of it as a partnership. You need to be the kind of person who can follow directions, but is also willing to ask questions. While working with your online personal trainer you should take advantage of the unlimited consultation and ask as many questions as possible. Doing this will ensure you benefit most from working with your online personal trainer.
 
Why a 3 month period?
Three months is an ideal period for a few reasons. Firstly, it is long enough to give you time to make significant steps towards your goal/s, if not achieve and surpass them! Secondly, it is short enough to create a sense of urgency, as if you have a deadline to meet, meaning increased motivation.
 
Can you guarantee results in the 3 months period?
Yes, if you put in the required effort, we can guarantee that our programs will give you results.
Of course, most clients come on board with goals such as ‘lose x amount of weight.’ In situations where the goal is realistically attainable, then we can guarantee that through working with us you will achieve your goals. If for whatever reason the goal cannot be realistically achieved within 3 months then we will be honest in our assessment and let you know prior to beginning the program.
 
For example, if you want to lose 15kg (33lbs) in the 3 month period then that is a realistic goal and we can assure you results. However, if your goal is something like wanting to lose 50kg (110lbs) in 12 weeks and we believe it would be unhealthy to attempt such rapid weightloss then we will advise against this plan.
 
Having said that, absolutely any goal is achievable and we are willing to work with and for you for as long as it takes to achieve that goal – whether it be 3 months or 12 months.
 
Can I work with you for a period of time other than 3 months?
We offer 3 month programs and consultation because we believe it is an ideal time period to offer fantastic results. If you feel that your goal is one that requires a longer term commitment you can increase this time period in 3 month increments simply by increasing the number of 3 month programs you purchase in the checkout section. If you decide to sign up for more than 3 months then we recommend you contact us first for advice.
 
What is the cost in relation to normal personal training?
The cost of our online personal training is one of the biggest advantages of the service. Three months of online personal training with PSHL costs roughly what 1 session would with an in-person trainer. This is great value, considering with a normal personal trainer you would only have access to his guidance and knowledge during sessions. With PSHL as your online personal trainer you have unlimited access to your trainer 24/7.
 
Do I need access to a gym?
No. In the questionnaire you will be sent this will all be dealt with. The exercise program is designed with your particular access to equipment in mind. This could be a home gym, gym membership, a park, a swimming pool or just your living room! The program will cater to these specifics.
 
How much time do I need to train?
From those who have 2 hours a day, to those who have 2 hours a week - it is all taken into account in the program design. This is one of the advantages PSHL provides over much of its competition, since the programs are not templates they can fit into the clients schedule without sacrificing results.
 
When can I start?
