Lets get straight to it and list 15 brief but effective tips that you can implement now to see immediate weight loss results.
1. Be more active. This refers to structured exercise as well as being more active throughout the day.
2. Use skim milk. Changing from full cream to skim milk is an easy and effective weight loss tip.
3. Perform Resistance Training. Builds muscle which increases metabolism and burns fat.
4. Eat fruit for snacks. Instead of junk like chips and chocolate.
5. Increase veggies. Full of nutrients and the fibre helps keep you full, helpful when you are dieting.
6. HIIT. High Intensity Interval Training is extremely effective for burning fat.
7. Avoid fad diets. Again, AVOID FAD DIETS!
8. Increase protein intake from lean sources of meat, low fat dairy and small amounts of nuts.
9. Control portion sizes. Eat the same size meals each time. It will allow you to track how much you eat and prevent overeating.
10. When in doubt walk it out. If you have a craving for junk food let it pass by going for a walk.
11. Don’t eat out. Try to avoid eating out, the food is almost always calorie loaded and nutrient lacking.
12. If you DO eat out make good choices. An entire article could be written on this but think sushi, fruit salads, sandwiches, salads without dressing, low fat stir fries, etc.
13. Monitor your progress with photos. More accurate than scales and provides cool before and after shots if your transformation is a significant one.
14. Train with a personal trainer or training partner.
15. Be consistent and patient. You will see results if you go about the process the right way. Don’t do what so many people do and quit when you don’t ’see’ results when they were in fact there.
